Melted Ice Cream is my new kitchen wall color. My schedule miraculously cleared itself today and after an early-morning run and a stop for some TSP cleaner and a roller cover, I got to work on my project. I painted for six hours, and went up and down the ladder I don't know how many times. My legs are going to tell me about it tomorrow, probably while I'm doing the second coat.
Love it - never would I have thought there was a pink I would love for a wall, but you have found it. Oh, it will look lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous color! I'm sure you will enjoy those walls for years to come.
ReplyDeletePantone just announced a pale pink like this as one of their colors of the year for 2016. Way to be ahead of the trend!!! :-)
ReplyDeleteWhat is a roller cover? Is it something that stops the paint drying out on a roller so that you don't have to wash it in between applications? If so, I want one if such a thing exists in the UK.
ReplyDeleteIt is unbelievably beautiful! Can't wait to see the finished results.
ReplyDeleteI love that color! It seems at first like a bold move, but I bet it will be so pretty. Be sure to show us!
ReplyDeleteLucille, a roller cover is the squishy part that slips onto the metal roller frame. You can wash the good quality ones in between uses and save them for the next job, or buy cheaper ones and throw them away after a project (I refrigerate it in a plastic bag in-between painting sessions).
ReplyDeleteOf course I will be showing pictures!
