Painting Class: Bird's Nest


I painted this in one pass, from a real-life nest in the studio. The nest is actually lined in mud.

    Nice, Anna! And I think this is one of those which looks even better at a distance. I bought a painting which was the painting of the month at the library several years ago. It is like that - looking very different up close from how it is further off.
