Jersey Dress Success
This is my new pattern! I'm really liking it--even better on, since it's made to fit me and not my out-of-date Lucille (time to make a new duct-tape dress form).
We have children getting married just a few weeks apart from one another. ;) If you haven't tried silk jersey, I encourage you to indulge, at least one time. :) My MOB dress is made with silk jersey and I LOVE it! I'm leaving you with a link to the 'heavy' jersey, but they also have a lighter jersey, though the heavier is only slightly heavier. The proprietor of the store is located in NY, so if you are going to be there, contact her. Tell Danielle, Carol from Canada sent you. ;) Blessings to your family on the wedding. Enjoy! http://fantasticfabrics.net/silk-heavy-knit-jersey-2418.html Looking forward to seeing photos.
Wonderful job Anna, I hope you are pleased with your result. I am still working on the armholes of my cobbled knitting pattern but I'm feeling encouraged.
Great job! Pretty color.
ReplyDeleteThat is really pretty!
ReplyDeleteA Mother-of-the-Groom dress, maybe?

I see that Lucille needs to lose a few pounds.
