Ignore, if you can, the sight of Sister gathered up like an armful of laundry, and instead see that Daisy made herself the cutest pair of floral shorts yesterday! She did everything herself, from cutting, to finishing her seams, to putting the elastic in her waistband.
Daisy: Good job! These are so cute. (MD)
ReplyDeleteWell done, the shorts look really great! Of course, everything worn by a sweet girl like Daisy looks good. I wish I had learned to sew clothes at a young age, too.
ReplyDeleteWow--wishing Daisy many more happy hours sewing! The shorts look great and Sister is cute no matter what! Happy summer! Susan V
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Good girl! They are very cute. And so is Daisy!
ReplyDeleteSo nice to know that these arts are being passed on to the next generation.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job! Daisy's shorts look so sweet and I am so impressed with her tackling the job! Was this her first clothing sewing project? If so, even MORE impressed, as pants/shorts have lots of tricky bits.
ReplyDeleteWell done Daisy! Heres to many more satisfying hours of sewing
Excellent job!! :) I hope she enjoys sewing!! Sister has grown!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Daisy! Very cute. I'm guessing that Sister folded up and slipped right down shortly after this photo was taken. :D

Awesome...independent sewing is the best...
ReplyDelete~Have a lovely day!
Can't wait to see your next beautiful creation. Sew on.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Daisy!
ReplyDeleteI have a nineteen year old daughter who loves to sew clothing and quilts and she doesn't know anyone her own age who also does those things. She is always excited to hear about other young women who enjoy learning/doing these traditional crafts, so I'll be sure to show her what you've been up to.
Adorable!!
ReplyDeleteSuddenly she's looking so tall. I've been reading since she was a little toddler in leopard print Mary Janes.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Daisy!
