Abstract: Catfish Ponds


If you've ever flown over the Mississippi delta you've seen these catfish farms from the airplane window.

    I like catfish, but my brother refuses to eat it.

  4. I didn't realize catfish was so regional! In the South, it's mostly served fried in cornmeal. Side of hushpuppies.

  5. I live in the Mississippi prairie (east central near the Alabama line) and catfish farming is big here too. We have a feed mill and processing facility in the town I live in. And all those ponds look just like that from the air.
