I just finished this fall dress for Clara--a woven cotton plaid in olive, cream, and black, with a black velvet ribbon at the waist and decorative buttons from my stash of vintage goodies.

I'd love to see more of the dress. I've been making pj's this past month. I've been buying them in past years, but somehow these are so much cuter. Lynn
I stumbled across your blog by accident, and have been reading avidly since! I am charmed by your life, which is something I admire though couldn't achieve myself!
I'm British, living in Japan, and I enjoy keeping my house and garden (spasmodically, sigh) while running a small English school from my home.
If you are at all interested, please have a look at my blog (which isn't that great at the moment as I am having terrible trouble uploading pictures...)
Anna, I think you're teasing us. :) You just FORGOT to upload the picture of the entire dress, right? :) Of course we'd love to see any garment you create. They are always lovely and inspiring. Cara
Do your girls wear dresses all of the time? We have moved to wearing more dresses rather than pants. We just feel more feminine. What do you do in the winter for warmth? Do they wear play dresses in the winter too?
I have been reading your blog for a little while now and just LOVE it... Your photographs are so beautiful! I am a lover of "all things domestic as well". Thanks for being a bright spot in the blogosphere! Jennifer R.
I'd love to see the entire dress, too, but have to say that I am always astounded by your son's photography. I always ooh and aah over his composition. I hope he is considering it for a vocation!

Your fabric choice is beautiful, what pattern did you use? Monti
