I'm not doing coconut tea strips tomorrow, but I will make whole wheat bread and maybe some cranberry muffins!

Remember last week I mentioned I was/am reworking our family's homeschool schedule? One of the things I am including is the designation of a Baking Day. I am still undecided as to which day - on Monday to stock up for the week, or on Friday to have plenty for Saturday and the Lord's day? Hmmm... Do you have a set Baking Day? Or is it just as the inspiration/need arises? :) Cara
I love Baking Days! Followed closely by Soup Days! A day spent in the kitchen is a wonderful day for me. Now, if only the dishes would disappear as fast as the banana bread... Having a plan is helpful. I like to make like items together-wheat bread loaves, and pitas, then maybe oatmeal & chocolate chip cookies together, etc. Since they have so many of the same ingredients I am able to get them all out once and put them away just once. I usually do Baking Day on Friday, myself. Although, I do have dough for Ginger Bears on the counter and the oven preheating right now. I'd better go to it before naptime's over! I love your site! ~Kimberly http://www.kimberlys-cup.blogspot.com
I am an evangelical Christian. I have two daughters whom I homeschool: Bella (15), and Daisy (8), and three older children: Giles (21), a college graduate, Felix (19), a college junior, and Clara (17), a college freshman. I'm 42 years old and happily married to my Dear Composer. We live in a 1920's school converted into a home, outside of town. And God is good.
Feel free to Pin my photos, but please link back to the page you found them on.
Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!
