These days I only seem to paint when I'm pressed to by accepting a commission. I finished one up this weekend and delivered it today. The buyer wanted a "jewel-toned tulip botanical"--and this is what she got.

What are you....Renaissance Woman??!! Hee HEE!!!
Anna, you have LOTS of talent and I love to see all the neat things you do. It is a blessing that you have the motivation to use the gifts God has given you. What a treasure to your family. I think it is wonderful that you model the enjoyment of creating to your children and didn't just stuff your creative side into a closet somewhere only to be discovered after your children are grown.
Love the painting...particularly the leaves and stem. (I paint too, but usually in oils or acrylics and I draw.)

Anna, I wonder if you have come across this lovely blog which I discovered the other day:

She is a water colour artist and is very fond of tea so I thought it might appeal. Good photography too!
What a beautiful painting Anna! You are so talented, you remind me of my mother.
