We did a variation on the variation and filled them with a little piece of super-dark chocolate.
And that worked fine.

Those cookies look sooo good it makes me want to bake. I never thought of putting dark chocolate pieces inside cookies. I bet they taste great.
Would you mind sharing the name of the cookbook? I don't have many as my mom never taught me how to cook. I've had to learn to cook, can, bake and many other things by learning from other ladies.
