Oh Anna, I "should" cross-stitch this quote, or something... I'm a very good wife/partner to my Tony but a horrid housekeeper. Neat, neat but dirty... The saying inspires me, rather than condemns me.

Thanks for this. I'm especially grateful for the phrase "can come to enjoy" because, to be honest, there are some aspects that I truly enjoy already...and some that I truly do not! However, I'm inspired that even the ones I don't currently care for can become ones I enjoy.
I LOVE Cheryl Mendelson! Finally, someone who makes me feel justified in choosing homemaking as a genuine career.
I'm certainly not particularly domesticated (ask my mum) however I LOVE this book. It is such a comfortable tome to peek into. In my house the book is simply referred to as "Cheryl".
Well, it's beautiful and I am looking forward to the day, but does she say how long it will take to get there?
