Elegance is refusal, but who could refuse these unused pop-up cards and these brilliant happy children celebrating?
Or this thrifted tissue tree? Perfect under the kitchen wreath. Must remember to move it when I mist the greenery.

The Christmas caroler candles by Gurley are being reproduced and can be purchased on-line...I loved those growing up...haven't seen any in vintage shops though....
We had "centerpieces" such as the tree for every holiday, it seems, while I was growing up in the 60s and early 70s.
