Of Course Monday is Laundry Day

We found a package of tiny clothespins at the thrift store last week.

And if that doesn't make you want to hang up your laundry, nothing will.

Underwear? Check. Straw hat? Check. Vintage hankie? Got it.

And she's teaching her bunny to iron.

What a helper!

I don't know that it would make ME want to do laundry but your sweet pictures make it look pleasant. Your daughter will be a great homemaker.

Awww, what a darling daughter! The little bunny-ironing picture is the sweetest. I love how she hung up the straw hat...

That is darling! My own girls have always wanted a little clothesline since reading a little Golden Book called, "We Help Mommy," circa 1955.

I never got around to making a short one for them. :(

Could I borrow the bunny when Kelly's finished? Or perhaps if your little one runs out of things to hang up there . . .

Very Cute. My girls enjoyed the pictures of Daisy hanging up the laundry...I think I know what they will be asking for sometime soon(mini-clothes pins).
Anna, I wanted to tell you about a book that I think you would enjoy. It is called "MaryJane's ideabook, cookbook, life book" by MaryJane Butters. She owns an organic farm a few hours from us. It reminds me of your blog, but in book form. I really think you would enjoy it. She does some vintage style embroidery and sewing and some wonderful recipes all with beautiful photography. I bought my copy at our local Costco a couple of years ago. But there must be some copies floating around Amazon or Abe books somewhere.

Very sweet. I think I need to rediscover the beauty in hanging laundry (of course it was 10 below zero this morning and there is a foot and a half of snow on the ground - maybe, I'll wait!).
