I love this picture because of the dresses. My mother made her gingham shirtwaist, and my smocked dress was a loan from an older neighbor. I used to love seeing it hanging in my closet; it was the prettiest thing I could imagine.
Anna, that is such a sweet photo! Thank you for sharing. In my opinion, in that picture you look so much like Daisy, with the same big beautiful eyes. Your Mom looks lovely! Sigh! Such a sweet bygone era. Things were so much simpler then.
As soon as I saw this, I thought, "There's Daisy!" And then I realized, no, that isn't Daisy. :) But my, I certainly think she takes after you...same gorgeous eyes, same sweet smile.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful photo! You've inspired me to dig out some of my old ones from when I was a girl.
Oh, I love this picture! It's so beautiful! You actually remind me of how I looked when I was that age! It brings back memories. Danielle thecrazybus.blogspot.com
What a wonderful treasure. I'm sure you love that photo. It would be lovely to make a photo in just such a pose with your daughters for your scrapbook.
That is such a sweet picture! I noticed the wall behind you, and wondered if it is the same house you live in now? The walls look to be the same. We live in the home that I grew up in. We bought it from my parents eleven years ago. I love that it's moving through generations.
Honey, I know where you and your beautiful little daisey got your good looks. Please list some newer pics fo you and Mom. Actually I think all of your children are beautiful. love the pics. God Bless, Patty

This picture looks like a photo from a magazine add.
Wait, that's not Daisy? ;) Your mom is lovely. And you, of course, are so very cute!
I also thought it was a magazine photo. So perfect. The picture was taken right around the time I got married. A "bygone era", eh? ;)
I was thinking the same thing - it looks so perfect, it's like a magazine photo. No wonder you love it. It feels.
Oh my, what a lovely picture! Anna, I would love to see more pictures like this; it's so fascinating to see people at different times in their lives!

I love this picture too - so sweet. And your mother really is stunning - at first I thought it was a magazine photo with models, not real people!
