Deep in the Woods

We're off in the morning for a float trip, followed immediately by a week on bikes deep in the woods. The four big kids are biking with church friends, kids and adults, while Daisy and I drive Big Mike and a trailer, stopping to shop for food, and doing the cooking.

It's killing me to leave when the raspberries are ripe, but oh, well . . . .

We'll be back a week from Monday!

I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to create my own blog (http://homemadebeginnings.blogspot.com/) and do more sewing! I hope you don't mind that I've linked to your blog.

Have a lovely trip.

God Bless. Sally

Know what you mean about the rasberries, ours had pricks on the stems, and were hard to pick, but oh so lush and sweet. Did a plan for a converted schoolhouse in college drafting. The couple took many of our ideas when remodeling their house. I earned a living for me and my 5 children with sewing which inspried my husband to become and upholster.

I found your blog while looking for Beany Malone books online! I think I found someone else who shares my enjoyment of these books! i think of Beany and my sister does also as a friend of the family! i mean everyone has to know who Beany, Mary Fred and Carlton are, right?
Anyhow, had to stop by and enjoyed your beautiful blog as well!

I made a couple of shopping bags using your tutorial. I was really pleased with the results. Thanks so much for sharing.

I have been fixing up my blogger blog. I wanted you to know that I have added you to my favorite blogs list.

Have a great week!

Your trip sounds wonderful. I hope you are having a great time. Enjoy! There will always be another year of raspberries if you don't make it in time for this year's.

I don't know why you haven't been showing up on Bloglines. Nothing has come up since Bella's trip.

Oh well, glad I checked and saw your latest posts. Have a great time. :)
