Zinnias in Milk Glass

Boy do these bright zinnias pop when they're separated into individual milk glass vases! This is such a simple arrangement that can't go wrong, and costs only pennies! I buy my vases at the thrift store when the shelf items are half price--that puts these at two for a quarter.

Thrifty happiness indeed.

Gorgeous! For the first time this year, I planted some zinnias...but so far they're not doing so well. Maybe with a little more time I'll see some results? One can always hope! :)

You're right that the color pops with this arrangement!

Beautiful. I wish our flowers would bloom like that! Such a burst of colour. It must be the perfect thing to brighten your day.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the row of milk glass vases. I'm always picking up milk glass at the vintage stores.

Zinnias are one of my favorites. Their color, they
reseed themselves, and the butterflies love them.
Great in the milk glass.

So cheerful and summery! Love the contrast of boldness and softness in the milk glass. We have just gotten our first bouquet from our zinnias and waiting patiently for more to come!

Very striking arrangement, but sweet too. My zinnias haven't bloomed yet, but, I am getting purple coneflowers. I could try them. I started an area of the garden that is white flowers only, and I included some white zinnias. I will need colored vases for them!

I have several milk glasses vases but no flowers. I don't garden in our rent house, so maybe I'll pick some flowers up at Sam's, the cheapest place for yummy flowers. Thanks for sharing your "brightness" with others.

I'm glad you're home.

I liked your idea, a few posts back, of a row of milk glass vases, so that's how I've been arranging my flowers. And greens (um, weeds). The greens look particular cool and chic in the white vases.

Gorgeous flowers and photos! You have an eye for taking a picture. I love little milk glass vases. I'll have to keep watch for some at the thrift shop.
