We set up the table for tea and presents . . .
. . . presents that held many, many princess toys.
Then Daisy blew out her candles. That's when she turned four.

- I am an evangelical Christian. I have two daughters whom I homeschool: Bella (15), and Daisy (8), and three older children: Giles (21), a college graduate, Felix (19), a college junior, and Clara (17), a college freshman. I'm 42 years old and happily married to my Dear Composer. We live in a 1920's school converted into a home, outside of town. And God is good.

Happy Birthday to Daisy! She has grown so much!!! I went back to the beginning of your blog posts and saw some pictures of her when you went to England a couple of years ago.....they grow so fast.
My daughter just turned 20 last Tuesday. Time slips away so fast.... It is a real blessing Anna, that you capture the simple things in life on your blog.

We had a fourth birthday here last week too - and yes, there were princess toys! The day prior I was telling Scooter about a little girl who was 4 like her and was quickly set straight. "No, Mom, today I am three. TOMORROW I am four."
