Our old vacuum died an unexpected death last week.
The new vacuum is so cool, so stylish, that here you see Bella vacuuming gratuitously. Sure, the room needed it, but it wasn't her job today. She just wanted to drive the new Italian model.
It's an Emer Botticelli, and it's *celery green*!!

Now that vacuum looks GREAT with those adorable shoes! What a snazzy machine! And a Botticelli, no less. Why do most vacuums look like tanks(and unattractive ones at that)? Me thinks a revolution's a-foot. : )
Everything Italian is so stylish...shoes, cars, vacuums....fatri
Sorry about "fatri." My fingers were typing too fast and that was the first part of the "word verification code" i had to use. Not an Italian word.
Not that I know of, anyhow!
I had the same thought as Debbie - the vacuum looks great with the shoes, AND the hem of the dress!
I don't think I would mind the chore with a vacuum so snazzy.
What a pleasure hearing so sweet words about Italian style...yes..I'm Italian and I live in Italy...and I've got a "no stylish" German vacuum...but so strong ;-)
Your blog is always so beautiful..
Kind regards

Love, love, love Italian design -- so sleek, so minimal, so mod!
Great vacuum. Our new one isn't as cute, but it still makes me want to use it! There's something about a new vacuum.
What I want to know is if it gets the stuff that falls between the cracks of your wood floor. I have a floor just like that and every vacuum I have tried has trouble getting at that stuff. I do have a very old Dirt Devil that will do a fairly good job, but it is on its last legs too.
Are you happy with your new vacuum? I am looking for advice on your vacuum cleaner. Do you like the way it cleans on floors and upholstery?
