One last sewing project this week--a cobbler's apron for Clara to match Daisy's dress. Same floral, same red binding. I've used this pattern before, but this time I cut out the wider neckline: "poncho" style, the pattern terms it.

Clara loves wearing these all day over a crisp white blouse.

Oooo, I want one!
Love your blog! Where do you find the vintage patterns?

I would wear it all day, too!!
Just beautiful, Anna! And I love the look of your pristine laundry hanging on the clothesline!
my mother use to wear one of these every day! They are neat!
I love this apron and Clara you wear it very well.
I would love to have this apron to wear while I sew to
keep the notions in the pockets.
Daisy's apron earlier this week and Clara's today
have brought back good memories of the first dress
I ever made at age 12. A dress that had this samenk
pocket effect all the way across and was very cute.
than was a long long time ago.
Happy Sewing! :)

Wow, you are such a talented lady. God has for sure blessed you with the gift of sewing, if only I could follow a pattern!
Ohhh! Me too, me too! I want one! How much more exciiting than just a usual apron.
Make one in green and I'd buy it in a heart beat at your Etsy store. I've been looking forever for an apron that actually covers my entire front instead of only 6 inches of the middle. (And has pockets.) Even my vintage one from Grandma doesn't cover up my entire top.
Clara is such a lady.
Where do you find these beautiful patterns?
Nice job on the piping! Daisy's dress looks great, too. So glad to be enjoying your blog again.
Appreciating the inspiration, Leslie
What a nice verstile pattern for your children. Honestly, such a touch of the old with the new and you complete the projects so well.
These are my favorite kind of aprons! I have one in particular that I use for my clothespins. It has saved me a ton of time having the pins right there in those pockets.
