We went looking to rent that very movie tonight and came home empty handed. I will be sure to get a copy tomorrow. Such a blessing to see happy children :)
Hi - Just wanted to say I found this blog a few months ago through Little Jenny Wren. I enjoy it so much. It makes me feel calm and serene plus I enjoy the writing and pictures.
Something I found interesting and you may too. I was telling my sister-in-law about this blog and mentioned Grace Livingston Hill to her. She then told me that back in the 50s or 60s - definitely a long time ago - that GLH's granddaughter and her husband lived in our town while he was, I think, the associate pastor of the Presbyterian church of which I am currently a member.
I didn't mean to write a book, but wanted you to know how much I enjoy your blog each day.
Someone else pointed this out also, that to have five children in such an age range watching the same thing, and enjoying it in what appears to be the same manner, tells me a great deal about this family.
Gives me the warm fuzzies. Thanks for sharing this scene.
Hi, I just found your blog about a month ago. So happy I did. I enjoy the authenticity of your posts. I'm a Christian, homeschooling mother of six. My oldest daughter recognizes you from the S&S message forum. Thanks for the lovely encouragement, Wendy
I am an evangelical Christian. I have two daughters whom I homeschool: Bella (15), and Daisy (8), and three older children: Giles (21), a college graduate, Felix (19), a college junior, and Clara (17), a college freshman. I'm 42 years old and happily married to my Dear Composer. We live in a 1920's school converted into a home, outside of town. And God is good.
Feel free to Pin my photos, but please link back to the page you found them on.
Photography
Photography is an important part of life at my house. Photos that appear here are taken by Giles, by the Composer, and by me. Giles is a real, paid photographer, and he uses a Sony Alpha. Most of the photography prior to September 2008 is his. Since then I have done most of the shooting and I use a Konica Minolta. Additionally, the Composer offers me nice shots on occasion, often from his little Canon point and shoot. I've given up trying to note who's done what. Thanks for your interest!

How nice!! This photo is a real "keeper"!! To show your children again when they're "all grown up", eh!!
Many blessings,

What I love best is that from the youngest to the oldest they are all enjoying the same thing. Great job Mom!
