Despite our hard frosts, the rosebushes are still dotted with the latest, sweetest roses. Cutting them with abandon today.

My "Queen Victoria" roses are still blooming great. I love seeing their pretty pink in a world of greys and browns.

Yours are beautiful!

I just discovered your blog online and hope you don't mind me reading it. I came across it while looking up information about Grace Livingston Hill (I've read her books since I was about 9.) I'm intrigued by your vintage clothing...I've gotten into clothing construction in the last year or so, and really enjoy the retro patterns. They are so stylish!

These look beautiful ~ I love roses & I just gave my friend Grace her birthday present to-day. A David Austen bare root rose called Grace. She can't wait until it blooms!!!!!!! Have a blessed day Marie x

Oh yes, enjoy them while you can! I love the single flowering roses and peonies - such beautiful yellow centers. Our roses are long gone, but now we get to enjoy the lovely red hips.
