Daisy Has a Delicate Doll
Daisy thinks of a certain kind of doll as a "Delicate Doll." She has been aspiring to own one, and yesterday she bought one at the thrift store. When we got home, she told me I could cancel her order for the Samantha doll from American Girl. Because she only needs one doll with real hair.
Real hair covered with a homemade bonnet.

What a dear sweet little girl! You can tell by the way she looks at her doll that someday she will make a wonderful nurturing Mom, just like her own Mother!
I'm sure she'll treasure this gorgeous photo along with the memories of playing with her "Delicate Doll" for years to come!
Probably the only thing more delightful than Daisy would be your descriptions!
I'm making AG doll clothes for Christmas over here, will you be sewing for the Delicate Doll?

What a financially wise little girl!
She and her doll look like a beautiful pair. I love Daisy's princess-style dress.
How precious!
All of the above :) What a cutie.
I LOVED my Samantha doll from american girl. I still have her in my closet. But I think I like Daisy's doll, too!
How sweet! I love when kids have standards for their playthings...when I was little, my dolls had to have eyes that opened and shut.
“Delicate Doll” is a sweet description; my daughter, who is 7, calls here doll “Special Baby”.
Canceled an order for Samantha? *faints*
Oh, anyway. Daisy and her delicate doll are very sweet. :-)
I wouldn't cancel that order, since Samantha is being retired (grumble).
Too precious! I bet she makes the most perfect little mother.
I learned from experience with one of my "delicate dolls" that if you give them a haircut, it doesn't grow back.
My Melinda doll forever had short hair after her one and only haircut. It was a hard lesson to learn at such a young age!
How proud you must be of her.
Ah, so sweet. My daughter has several "babies" she cares for. Whenever she visits her Granny down the street she's very careful about which doll she brings with her, because it usually comes home with a new outfit!

That is such a sweet photo, I'm sure she will treasure it when she is older. I remember vividly how I felt about my dolls when I was a little girl; I took care of them as though they were real. What a treat for her to find a doll that calls to her as this one does.
My daughter loves her American girl dolls. She has her own American girl web-site she would love for you to stop by.....

all she needs for Christmas is a hairbrush..
This doll will probably mean so much to her since she purchased it.
