The whipping wind was perfect for drying my tablecloth on the line today--if I used eight clothespins. I caught sight of it at dusk.

Beautiful tablecloth and the embroidery is so fine! Did you do it? Must be nice to hang linens out to dry. We have too many trees, and consequently...birds. And you know what that means....
oh, beautiful!
now that's a great photograph--the movement of the tablecloth, the stark white, the sky behind and silhouetted trees...nice!
I love how you capture the beauty in the ordinary. It inspires me.
YaYaOrchid, I feel your pain! We have 2 big trees and I usually take the risk, but find myself cursing under my breath when I have to RE-launder my stuff!
Love the smell of air fresh laundry. Would I dare admit I no longer have a clothes line outside?
Margo: Exactly, LOL!
MMMM....I can't resist the scent of clothes dried in crisp clean air. Still 2 feet of snow under my clothesline and oh right it's snowing right now.I guess I'll have to wait...tempting though.
Oh! I am saving that photo to my files. It is such a beautiful image.
I remember the days of drying clothes on the clothesline. And the smell. Oh nice.
