S'mores at the Lake

Carol and I are the Cookout Queens, which is how we ended up grilling at the lake yesterday evening with the church youth group that yes, has teenagers, but somehow always includes their parents and little brothers. Which we all like.

Because there were enough marshmallows to go around.

S'mores and swimming are good for all ages.

They're just good.

One of the things I loved about homeschooling was how all ages tended to get together for special events.

Even today my son still talks online to the younger brothers and sisters of his friends... as well as their parents!

Hmmm... I may have to get some chocolate bars at the grocery store.

We had s'mores this weekend :) The chocolate had been in the cooler and didn't melt as well as it should but they were still yummy.

I am the proud owner of your precious red bib :) Can't wait to see our little one wearing it!

Oh Yum! Hopefully soon we will be having some s'mores too! You may want to encourage Bella to try making Homemade marshmallows, they really are simple to make just a little time consuming. (I have a recipe on my blog too!) As usual beautiful photos :)

Have a wonderful day in the Lord!
