Caps

We are all wearing caps this fall. Daisy started it when my mother knitted her this oversized beret. I guess we all wanted to look that good.

Although for that we're going to need some more leopard-print skirts around here.

Besides the berets (we have two in different multicolor stripes), I've been making up a couple of other simple sewn hat patterns in various wools and cottons. I'll share them next week!

I have been knitting hats for the kids, my husband and now a friends son! I love making things we can use and wear!

Everything looks great on Daisy!
Love the beret, the rear view is pretty, too. I like how the circles all come together like that.
I know your hats will be lovely.
Peace.

Oh, so perfectly hand crafted chic... I love how your daughters all look so put together without ever looking immodest!!! I definitely think women can be both stylish and modest... you ladies are a case in point... Daisy foremost, of course!

Miss Daisy looks adorable in her beret! I keep wondering if any of my felted wool sweaters could be made into some cozy caps for fall and winter! I'll have to work on it - thanks for the inspiration!
