A High View of Sunset
If you have one of those big map books with every hollow, ridge, and lane in the state on its pages, you can find your way down the dirt roads and up 1200 feet to the highest point in the county.
And if you leave at just the right time of late afternoon, you'll get there right before the sun sets.
You had better bundle up, because pure and leafless late November gets chilly on that windy knob.
What a beautiful world.

A Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
How lovely! A couple of years ago I bought my husband extremely detailed hikers' maps and we've found so many old logging roads--ostensibly for his running, but also places to hike/drive--with gorgeous mountain views!
Marcus and I are heading to our church for Blessfest. While my husband is in for a long day at Kmart.
We celebrated our Thanksgiving yesterday. Marcus and I made the whole dinner! And the hubby loved it!
We wish you and your's a Happy Thanksgiving!
(mouth open) wow!
It is absolutely breath-taking.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
Just lovely, Anna!
