Daffodils, Finally

At last the daffodils are blooming enough for us to go picking. They're about two weeks later than usual! And much appreciated.

Oh, how lovely for you to have daffodils...bit of sunshine to bring inside!! We'll wait here another two full months...(sigh). Happy for you, though! :)

They are so cheerful.

I don't know if you would be interested, but I just formed An Artistic Mother's Group and I would so love for you to join us. You can read about it on my blog; and if you want to join us, just leave me a comment and I'll add you to the list.

...two weeks late for you, and we won't see them for about six weeks. Enjoy!

Beautiful! I'm a tad jealous... Ours aren't here yet, but I don' think they are late yet either.

It's like a batch of sunshine! Since we are still buried in snow this year, thanks for sharing their beauty!

Just in time for Saint David's Day on Monday! Lucky you. I love daffodils, but we won't see them for a while yet - there are piles of melting snow all over the place and it's snowing again right now. Enjoy!

How wonderful! Hard to imagine that this is late for daffs where you are. We're in the middle of a blizzard.

sighhh - lovely. But I won't see any here for maybe another month. But surely spring will come again (it's snowing right now).

So jealous of your daffodils!! We've gotten nearly 3 feet of snow this week, so needless to say it will be a very long time before we see our daffodils.

I love daffodils! One of the cheeriest signs of the change in the seasons. That and the cherry blossoms. I've got daffodils in every room now. So bright on the rainy spring days.

Oh, how beautiful, both the flowers and the composition of that photo. I love daffodils (my favorites are the white ones, but any kind will do!). Thank you for sharing a little spring today!

We have snow, snow and snow. Nice to see the pictures of the daffodils. One day, soon I hope, mine will also come up.

Your daffodils are a sight for sore eyes. Here in Maryland the snow has melted just enough so that you can see the green tips of the daffodils poking through the soil.
Oh.... I cant wait for these spring beauty's to appear! :)

Lovely to see your lovely bit of brightness when all we've enjoyed through the window today is blinding snow flurries! Perhaps in 6 weeks or so we will be as blessed!

Beautiful! I love winter but this one has been particularly nasty (we live in central MD so we've been bombed with snow!). I was just thinking yesterday that I was ready for the sweet smell of hyacinths!!

Beautiful!
We haven't seen grass since November, let alone anything blooming. The snow is packed down into about a foot of ice, and the snow plowed areas are brown and black with filth. Why on earth did they settle this barren prairie so long ago?? LOL! I do love to force bulbs this time of year, though. And, just because God knows I need to see beautiful things growing, He is blooming my two dormant orchids for the first time. Amazing!
