Our Own Apples

. . . from the tree halfway down the driveway. It was Daisy's life dream to pick them into a basket covered with a cloth. Sigh.

Very Anne-of-Green-Gables, Daisy's dream. I like her style!

Your apples are very healthy looking. Ours did not do well this year. Enjoy!

Ah, to have one's own apple tree (that has edible apples). A distant dream for this city dweller. :(

Daisy has the right idea. A cloth-lined basket is the only way to go.

Those are lovely apples... beautifully highlighted by the basket, and the clothe. :)

Baskets and apples are a few of my favorite simple pleasure....and the combination....lovely!! Yay for Daisy's sweet and simple taste! A mama's heart must melt in such moments. So glad to see you blogging again!! Blessings to you and yours!

Daisy made me sigh just imagining my own little girl (Daisy's age) that would also enjoy picking apples with a cloth lined basket.

Did y'all have another dinner for the Composer's father? I was just thinking that it is usually in the fall, and, oh so elegant!

That is awfully cute, and I agree with Tracy's comment.
