We have been madly scrubbing, baking, and fluffing the house. Tomorrow Giles comes home from college, with . . . a guest!
Beautiful Hazel, who probably looks less like a fairy princess when she's not styled for a fashion shoot. But tomorrow I'll know for sure!

Oh - I've been wondering when this would happen. :)

How exciting!! I love the scubbing my house gets when I know company is coming.
Ooo, how exciting! :D More photos after the weekend please! Have a wonderful time together.
I love her name! My eldest daughter is named Hazel.
Oh I can't imagine what this will be like when my 8 year old son is Giles age. Have a wonderful time getting to know one another.

She's a beautiful girl. I hope the weekend is lovely for all of you...as a mother of a six-year-old boy, it's hard to imagine the day when I won't be the woman in his life anymore. :) Best wishes for a wonderful time of fellowship and getting to know each other!
Blessings on your family this weekend. May you all have a wonderful time together.
I agree with Anonymous.. when I first saw her picture I though of the pictures on your blog of you.. there is a similarity somewhere.
I've been reading through your archives and I'm in 2007. In my mind Giles and Felix are just boys, not young men, so this post caught me off guard. It just reminded me how quickly they grow and how I need to redeem each moment while mine are still home. Anna, you inspire me to do just that. Thanks from the bottom of my heart!
She does seem to have an ethereal, fairy princess-like air! Hope you have a lovely visit.
Oh, she just LOOKS like someone who would fit in with your family (that is a compliment, hehehe). :)
My son is having Thanksgiving at his honey's home this year. Times have changed but in a very good way. We have only met her a few times but she fits in just like she was meant to be (and they are when God picks them).
I'm anxiously awaiting to hear how it turns out! I hope she's good to that boy of yours. Hugs to you through this time!
Wow, she looks just like an actress out of an old 50's movie.
