serious smiling at that--

love Parnell better than Praline, anyway!

when my daughter was little she had a doll the manufacturer named Josephine--but to Annie she was Josepher. And that was that.

I had a bear with a big red bow that had the name Felicia stitched on it. I always called her 'Telicka'

These same cats helped act out our Bible story in Sunday school a few weeks ago!

They are very busy.

Parnell reminds me of my new kitty, Victoria (who is named after my real cat).

My son was visiting his sister in New England recently and while there, my grandchildren went to Build a Bear and created Victoria for Grammie.

I love being a grandmother that the children would know appreciates stuffed kitties with bunny house shoes.

I have a feeling yours will know the same thing. :)

I have been giggling about "Parnell" vs "Praline" since hearing about the name mixup - I'm very glad to meet Parnell.

That page from the reader really took me back, though in the version I had in first grade, the little blonde girl's name was Alice!

That is SO cute! Seriously!

I sometimes want to imitate art, especially the Eloise Wilkin illustrations. I stare at those pictures as I read the books to my little ones and get inspiration for my homemaking from them.

What a beautiful picture. The slash of warm light behind her legs contrasts with the blue light coming from the room behind her. As a whole, it has a soft, warm feel. Wonderful!
