China Cabinet, Back in Service

Back on duty holding the china. Which is good, because Felix was not allowed to come home from school until the china was off his bed.

Now he's welcome, if he gets a free weekend.

I know the feeling! I'm not allowed to come home from school until the laundry is done, ever, because my room is now laundry central. I have no idea what will happen when I graduate and move home full time!

The cabinet looks absolutely wonderful :)

What a charming china cabinet!

Yes, no doubt Felix would have found sleeping on china a wee bit uncomfy.

reminds me of Emily of New Moon who fills her corner cupboard with china and "gloats over it." I love rearranging my mother's china cupboard for her since I don't have one - fun to play with those colors and textures.

Looking spiffy with the china cabinet! So fresh, so tidy. So ready for whatever. Reminds me I've been wanting to ask you. . . would you happen to remember your source - just off the top of your head - for the teapot in your August 13, 2007 post? (the white teapot with red/white handmade cozy, for a bridal shower)

Congratulations on your h.u.g.e and wonderful project. You will enjoy it alot, I'm sure. Just in time for Spring!

Oh, how I long for a china cabinet. To see the china out in the open rather than shut up in the cupboard. Our current kitchen/dining is just too cozy....

Anna, Does the Atrium White go well with this? Thanks for the inspiration!

Diane, I got that teapot at T.J. Maxx, which carries discounted stock from other department stores. Becky, the gray and the Atrium White go together very well!

I am so glad I found you. I thought I was the only one who loved being a home maker. I love gardening, thrifting, and decorating my country home. I am a children's book writer/illustrator and I am presently working on my book, Mother's Memories. I love your blog and I love the thrift store comments. All the best to you. You are a true artist.
