So Daisy Has Glasses Now

. . . and she's a little smug about being able to see well. And she's started using phrases like "for instance."

"Would you bring me my glasses case, for instance?"

I love her.

Anna is Miss Daisy wearing a knitted top or do I need new glasses?

Now that she has glasses, I'm sure she feels so much smarter, for instance.

How gorgeous!

Reminds me ~ must get my eyes retested. The kids at school keep putting things at the end of my nose and wonder why I can't see whatever it is.

Hi,
I have just found your blog while passing my time, I have just moved with my husband while he has a posting abroad, all our children have flow the nest and are doing wonderful things. I would like to say that you have given me some great ideas and I now see that my days will be full and very productive. Thank-you

Ahh, that excitement when vision is improved! Isn't it wonderful?

Precious! I still recall the sheer amazement of trying on my first pair of spectacles at the opticians in our village high street and seeing the world the way other people saw it for the first time and I was astonished. I had missed so much, assumed the soft focus look was normal, and it was magical. Hope Daisy continues to enjoy hers!

She looks so grown up in her glasses but just as sweet and pretty as ever. So, glasses improve one's vocabulary and speaking style. Who knew?

Oh - as a very nearsighted person since childhood, I'm sorry that Daisy has weak eyes. But it's a blessing that we live in an age where kids don't seem to be made fun of on account of it.

I'm glad she's enjoying the experience! - Lisateresa

Very cute. Don't know if it was glasses-induced, but my oldest brother went through a stage of starting every sentence with "Theoretically" and a musing look. This was the boy who chose to dress up as a math professor for Halloween in first grade, of course.

How sweet! My little neice is about her age and just got glasses as well. Now she will be increasing her reading even more! No more laptime with Mom.
