I think I've seen those used around the base of a candle in the fall. I like it better as a hanging decoration as you've done. A bit of orange is always good.
Yes, I thought the same thing...I have a few of those for my candles. Very pretty. I love the idea of having a theme for each room in the house. "The Orange Bedroom" sounds quite delicious and inviting.
I have a similar wreath that is meant for a pillar candle.
