Two More Easy Dresses

World's easiest ever dress: skirt made from the bottom of a man's tee shirt (thrifted). All the work is done, just gather the top and sew it onto the shirt! No need to finish the raw edge.

And the fabric weights work so well together.

And for the pink shirt, I used a lightweight corduroy for the skirt. It seemed kind of plain, though, without a DACHSUND. Found this applique in a children's vintage skirt pattern, a nice variation on the poodle.

She's made from wool felt, and attached with embroidery stitches. Her pink collar ties her into the outfit nicely.

And a little bit of brown beading at Daisy's neckline finishes things off.

The t-shirt dress is devine, but the pink one is a work of art. I'm in awe.

I love Daisy's new fall wardrobe!! One very lucky girl. I only wish I could pull off that look, instead I will dream of pink dresses with puppies while I sleep. :)

These dresses are wonderful! Daisy looks delightful in all her new dresses but the pink one is my favorite. What fabric did you use for the dog? The beading and the applique make this one extra special and will be remembered by Daisy all her life. You have such a lovely family. Thank you for sharing your life with us!

Oh thank you for the pictures! I especially was interested to see where you positioned the waistline. That looks just perfect.
The felt dauschand is just simply adorable. Beautiful work on that, Anna, along with the beading on the neckline! I bet Daisy loves here new dresses. We sure do!!

I remember that DACHSUND. He (she?) used to show up as the ubiquitous stuffed "autograph hound" popular with the preteen set in the late 50s/ early 60s.

Thanks for sharing this idea. I am not at all a seamstress, but I might be able to pull that off! I'll keep it in mind!
