Gorgeous Pink Buttons
Amazing buttons. From the thirties, I think? Because recommended for *smocks and pajamas*. They were in a box of vintage sewing goodies from sweet reader Lyn. They are going on a housedress, this minute.

Who would think that buttons could be apportioned in that way? Don't let anyone find out you're putting them on a housedress!

Sooo precious. You should then do something just as adorable with the button cards!
I LOVE when buttons are on descriptive cards! I got one from my grandma that is shaped like a men's shirt and the buttons are sewn on down the front and at the cuffs. I'm not sure I will be able to take it apart - you've given me the idea to just photograph it for blog posterity.
They are very pretty! I LOVE buttons, old and new...I just wish that I could use them more! =)
Definitely 1930s I would say from the illustration. Interesting, the British spelling is 'pyjamas' one of those lovely words acquired from Hindi, during the days of the British Empire! It literally means 'leg clothing' for anyone who's interested. I too would find it hard to part them from the card!
Oh how pretty.. I cant wait to see the house dress with this beautiful buttons..great find..
Deliciously adorable!
