Darling brown and white trees from the thrift store. I can't believe I dithered back and forth for two weeks before I dropped the fifty cents and bought them.

Anna, they are lovely there. Sorry for the late comment; the blanket (knit, teals for baby) is wonderful! And we were in the state below yours last week!! warmly from Mary Brooke
Lucky you! Normally if I dither too long, the item is gone from my thrift store... which then leaves me with regret for not snapping it up earlier. I then wax philosophical and tell myself that it wasn't 'meant to be'.
Beautiful find- and so thrifty, too. I also tend to mull a purchase over way too long, often not following through with the purchase only to grieve it later. Glad you let yourself claim this pretty treasure.
This is a qestion from an old post but I wasn't sure if you read old comments. Do you use your fresh ground wheat for your artisan bread in 5 minutes? If so do you use all fresh wheat and have you had to make an adjustments? Thank you for your time.
Thanks for my belly laugh for the day, Anna! Dithering back & forth...that is so funny. Probably because I recognize myself...seriously, I have done that before. Sometimes I am rewarded anyway, & make the purchase, & other times....well, let's just say I know the pain of regret for having hesitated.

Those are perfect!
Ha! I've done that too... oh, I don't know, do I want to spend $.50? Sometimes .50 just gets you! :)

I can't believe they were still there after 2 weeks! :)

Sometimes it's hard to imagine how it would look in our home - they look charming!

The trees are really pretty!
I usually make my artisan bread from King Arthur white bread flour. It's not our staple, healthy bread--more of a dinnertime treat.
simply beautiful...love how tasteful they are!
