- I am an evangelical Christian. I have two daughters whom I homeschool: Bella (15), and Daisy (8), and three older children: Giles (21), a college graduate, Felix (19), a college junior, and Clara (17), a college freshman. I'm 42 years old and happily married to my Dear Composer. We live in a 1920's school converted into a home, outside of town. And God is good.

Beautiful! I saw these bursting out of their boxes at TJ Maxx - begging for someone to buy them!
I replanted last years'. Do you think it will flower again?
Beautiful! My amaryllis has never gotten the hang of blooming at Christmas. The first year I had it the flowers showed up in February; last year it bloomed in July!

This Good Life
I found a couple bulbs in pots that had been sitting in a closet for 2 years. I decided to give them a chance before chucking them onto the compost pile; within a week of watering them they both sent up leaves! I don't know if they'll flower this year, but I was pretty impressed with them surviving at all!
