A Glowing Thrifted Painting
I found this oil painting in a thrift store last month and have given it center stage in the kitchen. The glowing cantaloupe! The copper kettle! The straight-up-and-down knife, and the seafoam green!
Wow! That is beautiful, and just right for the kitchen! The thrift stores in my area seem to specialize in pictures of Elvis or wolves or sad clowns painted in lurid colors on black velvet. Your find gives me hope that maybe someday I will find something I will actually be willing to take home!
Love the vintage teal blue in the painting! You always have the best thrift store finds!!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for oil paintings....this one is wonderful! :)
