From Alabama Stitch Book, this rooster stencil done in reverse applique using two t-shirts. Reverse applique is fairly quick, and so fun to cut open. This square will most likely turn into a pillow front.
Love it!
I have got to try this! It looks like so much fun and I love how yours turn out : ) Next stop: thrift stores for t-shirts : )
Love it! We just checked this book out via the library.
That looks great! Very sharp contrast between the yellow and black!Deanna
Nice job with that, Anna! I was just looking at the rooster tablecloth project in the book - I love that tablecloth! but I think it's more suited to a long rustic table in a big kitchen, rather than what I've got here.Lisateresa
It just occurred to me that this technique would make the COOLEST team mascot shirts. Labor-intensive, to be sure, but definitely cool!
Love the classic rooster design!
