Looking Around Charleston

Fort Sumter, heavy with history.

Drayton Hall, a beautiful shadowy Georgian shell.

I love teh hats and dresses :) That is like me- I always feel like I am the only one wearing a hat though LOL
(Over here that is, anyway. Back home in England, there are lots of us!)

Drayton Hall is one of my very favorite places to visit. I had to smile when I saw that it captured your imagination as well...

Loving the photos you're sharing with us, Anna. My husband & I were in Charlston in 2006, & enjoyed ourselves so very, very much. Isn't the history amazing? We passed a weekend there, so attended worship services per our normal routine. St. John's Lutheran Church is a beautiful building, & the members were so warm & welcoming to us. I would definitely love to go back sometime for a visit.
