Lavender Cupcakes for Tea

Bella frosted her chocolate cupcakes with lavender-tinted buttercream and a few sprinkles of lavender buds. Daisy made her first-ever batch of chocolate chip cookies and burned her finger just like a real cook.

Bella, your cupcakes are beautiful! Daisy, your cookies look scrumptious! Remember, when you get burned from cooking, you're getting into your work. True mark of a great chef. I've got lots. Haha. Keep up the great work girls! Christina

Those look delicious! Where do you get your lavender buds?

A delightful Tea!
I know Daisy will enjoy the journey of baking!

I remember my first bread; an overnight stay at Grandma's and a day in the kitchen learning the mysteries of yeast and flour. Complete with burnt fingers!

Has Bella tried this recipe?

Those look scrumptious! And congrats to Daisy on her first cookies.

Also, I wanted to say thank you for introducing me to Grace Livingston Hill's books...I am in the middle of "An Unwilling Guest" and totally hooked!

Those look lovely. Do you know if you make tea with an infusion of lavender buds and add lemon juice, it will turn pink? Yes.
