Apple Orchard Log Cabin Quilt, in Pieces

Turning my vision of an apple orchard into log cabin blocks. Because the Composer gave me two worn-out shirts.

Wow, you have a husband who gives you worn-out shirts?! I think he is a rarity in the male world. :) (Possibly in more ways than one, I realize. ;) )

I love those shades of red and green! I've been gratitating towards red and green together a lot recently - how did they get mired in Christmas only?! So beautiful together.

Just found your blog this morning. What beautiful colour ways in your quilts. The hand quilting your Mom does it very lovely. Was inspired to take a look at your log cabins -a design I particularly love.
