Six O'Clock Sky Log Cabin Quilt
When I started this quilt I was thinking about cloudy skies, but it came out more blue and white than cloudy. After it was pieced, I backed it in white and quilted it with natural perle cotton, and it still didn't feel like the colors were finished.
Then I bound it in coral and was happy.
Six o'clock sky, sunrise or sunset, your choice.

Anna I always love your quilts, I like that you use fabric that you already have and make it into an artistic whole. Rose, I'm still quilting the same way, except that I'm doing the actual quilting by hand, rather than machine. And these days I generally have more of a color "story" in mind when I'm picking out fabrics. Of course, the plot can develop twists and turns when I run out of my chosen scraps!
That is absolutely beautiful. Your quilts continue to amaze me!
