102 Things to Do on a Rainy Day

Clara came home for spring break bringing this Gilbert & Sullivan Treasury with her--a thrift store find of one hundred and two songs. Daisy has been counting down the days.

For weeks she has been filling the house with the music of Iolanthe, and now she's adding Ruddigore, H.M.S. Pinafore, Patience, and the like to her repertoire.

Sweet pictures of the girls! I have that book, too. I found it at a library book sale for a dollar! Another G&S fan here!

Fun! Daisy's dress is sweet. Did Clara make her sweater?

How much fun to find a book like that! A treasure indeed - and lots of happy hours at the piano.

Our Matthias dearly loves his quilt from you still! Just found you again, and am looking up dresses for little girls - 27 and 11 months. But I've already found the Alabama Chanin jersey is worth it's price as it's holding up a treat to the 27 month old who loves her soft dresses and getting messy. Her cheaper jersey dress, well, it's already in the rag pile.

Farrah, that's the sweater Clara was working on at Christmas.

Anonymous, hurray for baby girls! Congratulations!

So cool! My husband is playing in The Mikado in May, nd we often had G&S playing in the background when I was growing up.

And look at how lovely Clara's dress/ sweater combo turned out! If I could knit and sew faster, I might manage some beautiful outfits like that (although I'll bet being tall and thin really helps the look.:)

Thank you Anna! Matty loves his sisters also, and while his rowdy fun personality is fun, the sweet nature of the little ladies is so very nice. I just need a van or something now, the car isn't going to work much longer. - Amanda
