My Jersey Wrap Cardigan
After making the sleeveless short stays, I decided to modify the pattern into a 3/4 sleeve wrap cardigan. The best thing about it is that it's made from a thrifted men's t-shirt (long-sleeved, of course). The color is wonderful and the jersey is very thick and warm.
To turn a sleeveless garment into one with sleeves often involves changes to the shoulder strap part of the shirt. This took a couple of tries, and I might still need to trim the armhole down a little and extend the width of the sleeve cap, but you know jersey--always forgiving.
I hope someday soon to turn this into a downloadable pdf pattern!

I like this a lot! The short stays are cute on you but have no business on me, but a longer wrap would be superb (actually, I could get away with longer than this).
I am currently *between* jersey garments, just stitching a scarf for the necessity of having something to stitch at night, and dreaming up the next concoction. If I don't start stenciling something before you get the PDF finished, maybe this would be my next project. A great spring layering piece.....
Beautiful! I love it! I'll keep my eyes peeled for your pdf :) That'd be so cool!
it's charming and it looks so comfortable! I would love to follow a pattern - not confident enough with knits to strike out on modifying a tee shirt on my own, but I'd love to follow your directions.
Very elegant and pretty! Reminds me of a ballet dancer's cardigan.
I love it! I want one! The surplice style is one of my favorites, so popular in the Regency era and wearable today.
Looks great! Christina
Good for you, Anna! This wouldn't suit me, but it looks great on you.
Love your hair! You have a new 'do?

I would love to make something like this! I'll definitely give it a go when you post the pattern.
I like the color and the style. It's very pretty and comfortable in spring season. I would like to have one.
Love♥
Can't wait for your "release" pdf~!
XOXO
Oh I just love this - so functional and charming, too (for that Empire look, a fav of mine).
I agree with Laura - it reminds me of a ballet dancer's wrap!
I would absolutely purchase a pdf of this pattern, Anna.
This would be great for layering over my AC tank dresses, since I don't know how to put sleeves on yet, and I don't look great in sleeveless:). I look forward to the PDF!
do you have the pattern to share or sell? i would love to make this!
