Daisy we are growing the exact colour pansy in spring in Australia at the moment, it's outside my mother's living room door on the deck which faces north.
Hello, this is my first visit to your charming blog. The idea of remodeling an old schoolhouse is music to my ears. I have been enjoying going through some of your posts and in discovering that we both enjoy hand quilting. It is becoming very rare these days. I do not do all of my quilts by hand . . . it depends on how soon I need them finished, but I did just finish hand-quilting one for my daughter's birthday next month. She appreciates the difference and so it is a joy to stitch her quilt and put more love into each stitch. She lives eleven hours away and through mountain passes, so sometimes the only way I can give her a hug at night is through knowing she is wrapped in one of my quilts. The same for her daughters . . . quilts are the best way I've found to spread warmth and cozy hugs to the ones I love. My, my, I have rambled on and on. I do not see a place to follow your lovely blog, so I am going to add you to my favorites list. Have a wonderful weekend, my new friend. Connie :)
