Boreal Forest Quilt, Finished
This is Boreal Forest, the quilt. The forest is populated with creatures seen and unseen. No one knows who made these tracks:
It wasn't the bear--he's headed into the trees.
It wasn't the pine grosbeak--he flew in.
So did the Great Horned Owl.
And the hare hopped in from the west.
The boreal forest is full of animals,
and their secrets.
Design by Clara and me, embroidery by Clara.

Anna, the tiny animals are so wonderfully done! Just marvelous! The bear looks so fluffy indeed. I like them very much. The finished quilt is unsurpassed. Your result is worth every single word the Lord has rewarded us with.
Blessings,
Florence
Truly lovely and unique Anna and Clara.
This is beautiful and so creative and original!
This is so beautiful! I love how you both provided bits of yourself to create something so precious. What a sweet collaboration.
so charming!
Very creative!
I love this quilt. It is gorgeous. It has a charming simplicity without being too minimal. The colors are so fresh and serene. I love all the white space, and the endearing touches of embroidery. A forest must have wildlife! Your creativity is inspiring.
I am actually working on a blue and white triangle quilt made of mens' shirts. My first quilt ever. My dream quilt is one made of old flannel shirts-I'm just waiting for the shirts to wear out.

Just lovely!
The addition of the animals make this an extremely memorable quilt!
This is my all time favorite. Even without the animals, it is wonderful.
