We've been making this quilt up as we go along. The black triangles are in the middle, and we just draw whatever lines we feel like to quilt around them. Air currents, weather maps--these are our inspirations.
What a pretty quilt! (And I'm almost embarrassed to admit this, but I've hand-quilted several quilts, and seeing your photos has just made me realize I could be using a water-soluble marker to mark the lines! I've been doing it with a pencil, which is a pain for so many reasons. Not sure why it never occurred to me to do it this way; I guess that's the serious downside of being self-taught and making it all up as I go!)
I have been enjoying pictures of your beautiful quilts on previous posts. So much vibrant colour and wonderful texture. Do you hand quilt mostly? Blessings, Pam in Norway
