This one is inspired by the silvers and greens of my summer herb garden. Also, I'm sneaking it in while Clara spends two weeks walking around England! I'm supposed to be finishing this other project, but I'm not.
Clara started in Penzance and has been making her way north. Not all of that on foot :)
Kim, I strongly suggest doing your fabric shopping in the thrift store, at the clothes racks. Choose all natural fabrics (cotton, linen, or wool) and try not to get everything pretty.
I wouldn't be at all surpised to learn that Clara was doing Land's End to John O'Groats - your family doesn't do things by halves! However I see that she is starting in the south west and heading north so she's in keeping with the general direction of it anyway :-)
The quilt is so beautiful as always. I am utterly astonished at how many quilts you find time to make. Best regards, Angela.

Anna: This is gorgeous. (MD)
Carol, thanks!
How exciting for Clara!
Can you tell us where she is walking? It might be in some of my favourite spots. If she's passing the door we can have tea!
I really wish I had your eye for color. I go to the fabric store and stare aimlessly at the fabric, terrified I may buy the wrong colors. :(
Just beautiful!!!

Ugh, I always stare at your log cabin quilts trying to figure out how to create your pattern. They are all beautiful!
Beautiful, and well named.

Herb gardens and walks around the English countryside are two of my favorite things, and this quilt! Just splendid!

Is it a Gilbert and Sullivan tour? What an idea!
