A Regency Dress for Daisy

Daisy's turn for a Regency-style dress for Easter! This is a separate pattern from the ladies' and big girls' pattern, and it has fuller sleeves.


I made the dress up in a soft pink cotton sateen. The back buttons with round pearly buttons.


And because Daisy loves bunnies so much right now, I embroidered a bunny on the front at the hem. The transfer is from the delightful Pattern Bee.


And I love her eyes and eyebrows so much.

    Anna, I keep coming back to your blogsite. It is always beautiful in word and photography. I kept in touch (prayers for all of you) during the time of your Grandmother's illness and your mother's recovery.
    I am in awe (awe for an old 60 yr. old Ozark lady is not so rare, but "choosey"!) of your blog site. It is beautiful in every respect. I have cried with reading the words you wrote during illnesses and the photography of your little Daisy, along with other photographs, is just more than beautiful. I hope Giles has found a suitable university to enhance his gifts.

    I love the regency girls pattern. It goes together very quickly.

    I love the pretty pink fabric. I made this pattern for my younger daughters for Easter as well, but they choose a darker, brighter pink, and an orange print! They are so adorable! I think I could use this pattern over and over!
