Very Late Roses


Despite our hard frosts, the rosebushes are still dotted with the latest, sweetest roses. Cutting them with abandon today.

  1. My "Queen Victoria" roses are still blooming great. I love seeing their pretty pink in a world of greys and browns.

I'm intrigued by your vintage clothing...I've gotten into clothing construction in the last year or so, and really enjoy the retro patterns. They are so stylish!

  3. I just found your blog today. (Actually I bearly know what a blog is. I am just now getting into them.) I too am an evangical christian. I have 2 kids in college and a great husband. He supported my descision to quit agreat job to raise them. After reading some of your comments I felt like I have just chatted with a friend.

  5. Oh yes, enjoy them while you can! I love the single flowering roses and peonies - such beautiful yellow centers. Our roses are long gone, but now we get to enjoy the lovely red hips.
